We are a locally owned and operated toy store that believes in the power of play to inspire imagination and creativity in kids of all ages.  Our products are lovingly researched and selected and we love to help our customers pick out books or toys that will fit each child's interests and abilities.  To tie a perfect bow on each shopping experience, we offer complimentary (and amazing!) gift-wrapping on all of your regularly priced purchases!  

It all started back in the 80's with one woman's love of high quality, educational toys.  After first selling to customers by going door to door, the first Imagination Station was opened in Roanoke on Grandin Road.  This one was followed by another in Market Square.  A store was added down the interstate in Blacksburg, the home of Virginia Tech.  After a few moves and ownership changes the Roanoke store was eventually closed but the Blacksburg store, named Imaginations Toy & Furniture Co., remained.  In October of 2015, Imagination Station re-opened on Grandin Road.
